TRAILERS - AN IMAGINARY FILM
Trailers is a conceptual work which shows four shorts and a thank-you finale. It is also our first encounter with film making.
This work consists of a series of imaginary films with a central story line combining different elements: water, air/oxygen, carbon dioxide, the big machines, energy, war and flying artifacts.
New technology, in terms of hard and software, has been used for this production, combining the sounds of nature with background music.
This is the result of a seven-month work.
The soundtrack used is Pink Floyd’s demos recorded in boat-house studio Astoria in 1987, re-mastered and readapted in our own studios De la Bella Guardia in 2015.
Our purpose has been to improve on quality within the present technological availabilities.

H2O: AGUA – WATER – EAU – ACQUA
The first trailer was conceived in the media that is identified with life, peace and the tranquility brought about by being near water, that together with the contact with nature highlight the sensitive areas of man transforming negativity into a positive RAM.
O2: AIRE – AIR – AIR – ARIA
Man’s need to fly. Air is the most elusive medium for us… deprived of wings. Flying in any way… in complex machines such as airplanes, helicopters or maybe just with our imagination.
CO2: DIOXIDO DE CARBONO – CARBON DIOXIDE – DIOXYDE DE CARBONE – ANIDRIDE CARBONICA
Gas sent out by weapons as a result of powder exploding. In this case, it’s not a real war but an exhibition where strategy can be appreciated and how the different forces – land, motorized and air – act in combination using all available means.
H2O+CO2
In this trailer, all the above mentioned elements are combined and it represents modern life and the brief moments to enjoy nature, the dependence on energy and the desperate attempt to escape or ‘fly’ from the modern world.
